Special guests in Waldstetten: on the 30th January Baden Wuerttemberg’s prime minister, Guenther Oettinger, visited the LEICHT factory. LEICHT chairman, Stefan Waldenmaier, guided the guests – which also included the CDU-member of Parliament, Dr Stefan Scheffold and Mayor Michael Rembold – so that they could see for themselves how LEICHT achieves the highest level of quality and flexibility. The new kitchens in the in-house exhibition gained great admiration from Mr Waldenmaier’s guests. In particular the architectonic layouts, the diversity of the materials and the attractive choice of colours from the more than 1000 shades of the RAL-system made a great impression. The prime minister as father of a son and as a self confessed gourmet, was particularly interested in the simplicity of use, for instance the retraction-cushioned doors and pullouts and the all-encompassing cupboard interior fitments. Afterwards economic and company politics were discussed, with Mr Oettinger showing a considerable trade knowledge and an open mind to the problems associated with the national kitchen market.
